Little Tikes Farm Program

Fill your day with friends and fun! Farm camp is for kids ages 5 to 7 and runs from 8:30am to to 1:00pm Monday - Thursday.

Ponies, ponies and more ponies! Campers learn how to handle, groom, and care for horses. Learn all about:

- Animal husbandry and farm life
- Animal behavior, control and safety
- Basic riding skills
- Horse grooming and anatomy
- Horse colors breeds and markings
- Farm animal nutrition and care

Students practice their new skills with miniature horses and small ponies that are easier to handle. Every day begins with a barn lesson that supports the development of social skills, self-discipline and respect along with horsemanship. Students progress through each skill at their own pace.

We’ll beat the heat with arts and craft activities in our air conditioned lounge. Kids will get creative with art projects like drawing our horses and farm animals, leaf prints, and more!

Little Tykes Farm Camp is $475 per camper, per week. A $150 deposit is required and there is a $50 administration fee to reschedule a reservation.

Horsemanship Camp

New Friends and Horsemanship! The Horsemanship camp is for children ages 8 and up. Whether you are a beginner who wants to learn to
ride, or an experienced rider who wants to improve your skills, there is a place for you at our Summer Horsemanship Camp!
8:30am to to 1:00pm Monday - Thursday

Our goal is to build each rider’s skills and confidence enabling them to ride and safely and correctly. Theory is an essential plank of our curriculum. The ‘whys’ of riding, training, and horse behavior, are equally important to the ‘hows’. Small group environment allows our instructors to offer individualized attention and develop riders at their own pace.

Beginner riders may be aided with a leader (if they need one). Group horse care allows all of our campers to have hands-on experience taking care of horses and ponies. Campers work as a group to groom, tack, bathe, and care for their horses. Two riding and driving activities a day develops riding skills while lessons teach all aspects of horsemanship and caring for horses. Some of the things that beginner campers learn about are grooming, tacking, tack care, horse bathing, and horse breeds including colors and markings. More advanced campers continue their education learning about feed, shoeing, caring for injuries, wrapping, and show prep. Each session ends with a show, or gymkhana games!
